We cordially invite you to a Fireside Chat with Q&A on the current situation in the Ukraine war under the title “The War in Ukraine: Current Events and Prospects for Peace. Ambassador Christoph Heusgen and Nicole Deitelhoff will discuss recent developments and prospects, moderated by Tim Büthe.

About the guests

Ambassador Christoph Heusgen is Chairman of the Munich Security Conference. He previously was German Ambassador to the United Nations and served as Diplomatic Advisor to Chancellor Merkel.

Dr. Nicole Deitelhoff is Professor and Chair for International Relations at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main and Executive Director of the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF/HSFK).

The event will be moderated by Dr. Tim Büthe, Professor and Chair for International Relations, Munich School of Politics and Public Policy at the Technical University of Munich; TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology & TUM School of Management.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 11 January 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

LOCATION:

The hybrid event, jointly organized by the Chair for International Relations and the TUM Think Tank will take place at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (Hochschule für Politik München, HfP), Richard-Wagner-Str. 1, 80333 Munich.
