Organs and Committees of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy

The Munich School of Politics and Public Policy is committed to efficient management and involves its members in its further development. We are open to the world, concerned about equality and committed to the greatest possible transparency.

The Advisory Board, Senate, Rector and Administrative Director lead and represent the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy internally and externally. They act in the interests of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy and its members. Their goal is to promote excellence in research, teaching and innovation.

The student council is elected by the students of the Munich Scholl of Politics and Public Policy and represents them vis-à-vis the HfP management. It also has a proportional say in the study grant commission.

The Staff Council is elected by the employees of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy and has equal representation. The Women's Representative is elected by the Senate for three years on the proposal of the Rector.

Together they ensure the co-determination of the HfP's employees and promote the implementation of the equal opportunity plans.

Current activity report

Our annual activity report has been available digitally since 2021 and provides information on the following items:

  • Summary of the research work of the professorships and chairs. 
  • Course offerings and composition of the student body
  • Media presence, transfer and educational work
