Gloria Amoruso is a PhD Candidate of the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy. Gloria Amoruso presented some preliminary findings of her research project at the Annual Conference of the International Association for Impact Assessment on “Environmental Justice in Societies in Transition”.
The four-day interdisciplinary conference was attended by 975 delegates from 80 different countries and represented academia, governments and public administration, industry, NGOs and individual professionals. The conference was not only an opportunity to discuss latest findings and experiences from research and practice concerning environmental justice, but was also a very good opportunity to network across countries and disciplines.
Amoruso’s talk with the title “A socially just energy transition in Berlin?” contributed to a panel discussion with other scholars working on energy justice in different countries, such as Mexico, Denmark, the UK and South Africa.
