Research focus
Geoffrey Hubbard is a doctoral candidate in the School of Governance at the Technical University of Munich researching societal resilience from technological, environmental, and political perspectives. His doctoral research explores the origins and consequences of diverging biotechnology policies with a focus on cellular agriculture.
Career
Geoffrey holds an M.Sc. in Politics and Technology and a BA in International Relations.
His work in academia has included, most recently, serving as director of the BA programme in International Strategic Management for the Anahuac-Coventry Universities partnership, as well as his position as adjunct lecturer teaching undergraduate courses at the intersection of technology and the social sciences. Beyond academia, Geoffrey has professional experience as a threat intelligence analyst and digitalisation consultant.
