Daniel Bakomora

Daniel Bakomora is a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy at the Technical University of Munich, where he focuses on energy policy, energy transition, political economy, geopolitics, and the clean energy transition.
Daniel's academic work explores the complex intersections of political economy and geopolitics in shaping energy policies, with a particular emphasis on how political actors facilitate clean energy transitions. He brings a global perspective to these issues, with a deep commitment to analyzing and addressing the challenges unique to the African continent in its journey toward clean energy.
In his professional career, Daniel has accumulated valuable experience working with Infineon Technologies AG in various roles, such as intern, working student, and master's thesis candidate. With a background in strategy, sustainability consulting and supply chain innovation, Daniel has previously worked on projects with Infineon Technologies AG, focusing on opportunities, and compliance with the EU Green Deal, Supply Chain Law, market analysis on energy management systems, and risk mitigation strategies. His contributions have consistently demonstrated his ability to blend strategic thinking, market insights, and sustainability-focused solutions to drive impactful outcomes.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Ghana, a Master's degree in Consumer Science from the Technical University of Munich and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics and Social Science at the Technical University of Munich.
