The prestigious Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW) has honored HfP Professor Tim Büthe (Chair of International Relations) for his scientific achievements by electing him as a member. His research, which includes studies on international economic relations, competition and trade policy, as well as technology governance and innovation, significantly contributes to the expansion of the body of knowledge. Büthe is now part of Section II: Law, Social Sciences, and Economics.
Prof. Tim Büthe views the membership as an opportunity: "I look forward to the great opportunities it promises for intellectual exchange and research collaborations across disciplines." He expressed his great pleasure at receiving this honorable recognition during the ceremony on 17 May 2024: “It is very humbling to be honored in this way.“
Prof. Tim Büthe's had been elected member by the plenary of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in April 2024. Alongside Prof. Tim Büthe, ten other researchers were also elected as new members.
