Resumé
Ana Isabel Genz has been working as a student assistant in the research project ReMIX at the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy at TUM since October 2025.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environment & Society from the Rachel Carson Center at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. This interdisciplinary program critically examines human-environment relations, environmental justice, and the climate crisis from cultural and social science perspectives.
In her master’s thesis, Ana Isabel Genz explored urban gardening projects in Munich, analyzing how social categories such as gender, class, and ethnicity shape gardening practices. She previously earned a B.A. in German Literature and History of Art as well as the Environmental Studies Certificate from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. As part of the Erasmus Programme, she also studied at the University of Leeds and the Universidad de Sevilla.
