At the end of November 2024, a workshop with the practical advisory board of the ‘Power2U’ project was held at the Öko-Institut e.V. in Berlin. The project teams from the Hochschule für Politik (HfP / TUM), the University of Magdeburg (OVGU), the University of Leipzig (UL), the Agency for Renewable Energies (AEE) and the Öko-Institut e.V. met with the project's advisory board and external guests. The aim was to discuss the research results of the scientific teams and to develop recommendations for action based on the input of the practical advisors and guests. After exciting discussions about the economic, psychological and political science contributions, the different perspectives were productively brought together in the World Café format. At the end of the project, the results of the inter- and transdisciplinary work and recommendations for empowering households to invest in heat pumps and electric vehicles will be published.
Special thanks go to the advisory board and the guests for their valuable contributions and to the Öko-Institut e.V. for providing the space and support in organizing the workshop.
