On Monday, November 24, 2025, Theresa Jedd gave a talk to a group of delegates from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources, China.
Her talk was titled "Water extremes as policy catalysts? Trends in drought governance.” She shared insights on multi-level monitoring of water availability, drought policy guidelines, and case study examples from the U.S. and Europe. The talk was followed by an interactive question and answer session.
The delegates are visiting Munich as part of their professional development as natural resource managers. They are interested in ecological restoration policy, as well as monitoring and evaluating sustainable land use. They will be visiting Munich through December 2025.
