On 1 October, the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy at HfP welcomed Thilo Krechlak as a student assistant and AI Guide, thanks to funding secured by Dr. Florentine Koppenborg. As an AI Guide, Thilo contributes to building AI expertise and supports teaching as well as learning experiences at the Chair.
Thilo participated in the structured training offered by the AI Guide Academy of TUM ProLehre, which involved a self-paced online course and in-person workshop training. There, foundational knowledge on AI and applied training on how to integrate AI tools in educational settings were addressed.
With the skills acquired from this training, Thilo supports students and faculty in their use of AI, acting as a multiplier. As such, he will hold talks and workshops for a range of audiences, including students, PhD candidates, and researchers. In doing so, Thilo aims to help faculty and students engage thoughtfully and responsibly with AI tools.
