Harvesting Digital Service Results

Prof. Dr. Stefan Wurster and Dr. Markus Siewert are conducting an evaluation study on the use of digital technologies in German development cooperation, in collaboration with the "Harvesting Digital Service Results" team at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The project commenced in May 2021 and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2021.
Project Description
The evaluation project aims to generate scientifically validated data on the following questions: What contribution can digital technologies make to (better) development cooperation results? Which key enabling and hindering factors can be identified? What contribution do digital technologies make to promoting further digital transformation among relevant stakeholders and partner institutions?
Our team will be responsible for data collection through a comprehensive online survey, focus group interviews, and data analysis using qualitative comparative analysis and case studies.
