Harvesting Digital Service Results

Prof. Dr. Stefan Wurster and Dr. Markus Siewert are conducting an evaluation study on the use of digital technologies in German development cooperation together with the team for "Harvesting Digital Service Results" at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The project started in May 2021 and will be completed by the end of 2021.

Project description

The aim of the evaluation project is to generate scientifically validated data on the following questions: What contribution can digital technologies make to (better) development cooperation results? Which key enabling and hindering factors can be identified? What contribution do digital technologies make to promoting further digital transformation among relevant stakeholders and partner institutions?

Our team will be responsible for data collection via a broad online survey as well as focus group interviews, and data analysis via Qualitative Comparative Analysis and case studies.
