Résumé
Andreas Marx has been a research associate at the Urban Digitainability Lab for the Chair of Policy Analysis at the Technical University of Munich since June 2024.
His research focuses on the analysis of digitization processes in large cities and municipalities and their impact in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Over the past 6 years, Andreas has worked as an urban planner and consultant and has supported municipalities in the conception and implementation of smart city projects (e.g. Kirchheim, Jena, Rostock). He was also responsible for regional planning tasks at the Government of Upper Bavaria and advised local authorities on local planning tasks (land use plan, development plan) and procedural issues.
He holds university degrees in Urban Studies (M.Sc. TU Munich) and Sociology (M.Sc. Universiteit van Amsterdam & B.A. Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München).
