Ana Isabel Genz has been supporting the teaching and research project „sustAInability“, funded by bidt, at the Professorship of Policy Analysis at the Technical University of Munich since April 2026.
Her research interests include sustainability, human-environment relations, and environmental justice. She successfully completed the interdisciplinary master's program "Environment & Society" at the Rachel Carson Center at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Her master's thesis examined urban gardening projects in Munich, analyzing how social categories such as gender, class, and ethnicity shape gardening practices.
During the winter semester 2025/26, Ana Isabel Genz supported the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy in the research project „ReMIX“ and continues to be involved with the TUM Think Tank.
She holds a B.A. in German Studies and Art History, as well as the Environmental Studies Certificate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. As part of the Erasmus program, she also studied at the University of Leeds and the Universidad de Sevilla. interests.
