In our 75th year, more than 200 new Students have begun their academic journey this Winter Semester at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy—proof that our two study programs are ahead of their time!

The semester kicked off with motivational welcome speeches by our Rector, Prof. Urs Gasser, and the Heads of Program. Our new students then received key insights from the HfP study management team, the StuWerk, TUM-Sprachenzentrum,Unternehmer TUM, Fachschaft GTS, and the TUM Think Tank.

The following poster session with professors and researchers didn’t just showcase academic work—it sparked conversations and connections that set the tone for the months ahead. Newcomers quickly discovered that HfP is all about connecting, exploring new topics, and approaching the world with an open mindset.

The evening shifted the spotlight to the future. At our PracticalPathways+ Event our new master students explored the Professional opportunities our programs unlock—internships, Fellow Programs, and candid stories from HfP students and alums showed what it means to take HfP knowledge into the world. The day concluded with a powerful alums panel. Their careers, their choices, their lessons—all proof that the path from HfP leads straight into the arenas where politics, technology, and society collide.

The journey for this new class has just begun—and we wish all of our students a good and inspiring start to this exciting new chapter in their lives.
