Amy Pond, Professor of Politics of Finance at the HfP, hosted an international conference at the TUM Akademiezentrum in Raitenhaslach on July 3-5.
Among several scholars from around the globe, members of the HfP presented papers on topics that revolve around the international political economy of finance:
- Tim Büthe and Carly Potz-Nielsen (Chair of International Relations) on the effect of competition policy on innovation
- Florence Dafe (Chair of European and Global Governance) on patient capital
- Chase Foster (Chair of International Relations) on competition law and varieties of capitalism
- Leonhard Hummel (Professorship of International Political Economy) on he trade and environment nexus
- Hannah Löffler (Professorship of Politics of Finance) on political attitudes of renters in light of interest rate hikes
