Carolin von Bredow is the manager of the Content Moderation Lab and is currently completing her M.Sc. in Politics and Technology at the Technical University of Munich, where she has focused on the regulation and societal impact of artificial intelligence and social media. She has contributed to several research projects, including at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. There, she has contributed to reports on online content moderation, the GDPR, and policy recommendations on artificial intelligence. She earned her B.A. in Politics and International Relations at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom and is a co-founder of the Responsible Technology Hub. Her other research interests include political communication, digital human rights, intersectionality, and the misuse of deepfake technologies.
