Résumé

Friederike Quint is a research associate and doctoral candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yannis Theocharis. Previously, she received her M.A. degree in Political Science at the University of Mannheim, including a semester abroad at Aarhus University, Denmark, after graduating with her B.A. degree in Political Science with a minor in Media and Communication Studies at the University of Mannheim. During her master's, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Democracy Research at the University of Mannheim and during her bachelor's, she worked as a research assistant at GESIS (Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences) in Survey Design and Methodology. Her research interests include the politics of free speech on social media, speech legislation in democracies, online and self-censorship, the effects of content moderation, and methods of survey design and causal inference.
