Fabian Mehring is a member of the Bavarian state parliament and part of the leadership team of the Freier Wähler group in the state parliament (as "parlamentarischer Geschäftsführer"). He is also a member of the supervisory board (Hochschulbeirat) of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (Hochschule für Politik München an der TUM). A PhD political scientist, he is the foreign policy expert of the Freie Wähler in Bavaria.
Katrin Paula is Professor for Global Security and Technology at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (Hochschule für Politik München an der TUM). A PhD political sociologist, she focuses in her prize-winning research on conflict processes and on social movements as political and societal actors.
Tim Büthe, is Professor and Chair for International Relation at the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (Hochschule für Politik München an der TUM).
The discussion, organized by the HfP Chair for International Relations, will conclude with an opportunity for participants to ask questions (on site for in-person participants; participants are asked to submit their questions for the panelists during the event in writing via the webinar function or via Email to UkraineEvent(at)hfp.tum.de). In-person participants need to agree to be on camera for the video recording of the event. The discussion will be held in German.
