New interdisciplinary online lecture series “Digital Sustainability Transformation by, for and of TUM”

News |

How do digitalization and sustainability go hand in hand? What role do universities play within these transformations and how can students, researchers and administrators actively shape them? How can universities become more digital and sustainable, and moreover actively stimulate sustainability beyond the university? Over the next weeks, these and many other questions are addressed in the TUM’s new interdisciplinary online lecture series “Digital Sustainability Transformation by, for and of TUM” organized by the Professorship of Policy Analysis at the Bavarian School of Public Policy / TUM School of Governance.

The online lecture series starts on Monday April 19th, 2021 and proceeds every Monday from 6:30pm to roughly 8:00pm. The first two talks will concentrate on how sustainability and digitalization matter for and are addressed by universities like the TUM. After these introductory sessions, a host of invited experts will cover various topics concerning the economic, social and ecological dimension of sustainability, also exploring how these developments are interlinked with the ongoing digital transformation. You can find all information on the topics covered throughout the seminar, and how to participate on here (LINK: https://www.hfp.tum.de/en/policy/digital-sustainability-transformation-by-with-and-of-tum/lecture-series/)
