The US political scientist Joseph Nye was a guest at the Munich Talks on 14 February 2020. In his lecture "Do Morals Matter in Foreign Policy", Nye analysed the role of ethics in US foreign policy after 1945. Nye, one of the world's most influential researchers on political leadership, teaches at Harvard University and was Deputy Secretary of Defense under Bill Clinton.
