On 15 May 2024, PhD candidates Luise Koch and Nikolay Lunchekov presented one of their PhD papers at the TUM Graduate Students Day. In attendance of other PhDs and PosDocs from the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, Luise Koch presented her research looking at how online misogyny in the 2022 Brazilian election has affected female candidates and their democratic representation. Nikolay Lunchekov depicted his research on motivations and perceived risks associated with "chemsex" use among men who have sex with men in Kazakhstan.
