Resumé
Manzura Jumaniyazova is a research associate and a PhD candidate at the Professorship for Global Health at the TUM School of Governance at the Technical University of Munich since 2020. Before joining the team, she obtained an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Goettingen (Germany) and a BSc in Economics from the University of Westminster (Uzbekistan). During her Master’s studies, she worked as a student assistant at the Center for Modern Indian Studies at the University of Goettingen and as a junior researcher at the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Manzura’s research focuses on gender and health, specifically on son preference, child development, and subjective well-being.
