Possible Topics for Bachelor and Master Theses
At the Professorship of Global Health there is the possibility of writing bachelor and master theses in the topics of health, gender (in)equality, ethics, and poverty/economic development. You can approach us with your own proposals or work on one of the topics listed below.
Possible Topics:
- What are determinants of girls' school dropout in low- and middle-income countries?
- What are correlates of girls' violence experiences in Zambia?
- What are associations between adolescent girls' empowerment and household communication on their sexual harassment risks and experiences?
- What are sexual experiences and sexual identities of gay and bisexual men in Kazakhstan (qualitative evidence)?
- Digital violence against politically active individuals in Germany/India: Which groups are most at risks and how do affected individuals react emotionally and politically?
If you are interested in working with quantitative and qualitative primary data, there is also the possibility to use data from the following four projects:

Pan-European Response to the Impacts of COVID-19 and future Pandemics and Epidemics (PERISCOPE)
