Possible Topics for Bachelor and Master Theses

At the Chair of Global Health there is the possibility of writing bachelor and master theses in the topics of health, poverty and development as well as gender (in)equality and gender. You can approach us with your own proposals or work on one of the topics listed below.

Possible Topics:

1. What electoral effects did the COVID-19 pandemic and linked social distancing regulations have in Germany?
2. How does (social) media consumption impact trust in government?
3. What are determinants of girls' school dropout in low- and middle-income countries?
4. What are sexual experiences and sexual identities of gay and bisexual men in Kazakhstan (qualitative evidence)?

 

If you are interested in working with quantitative and qualitative primary data, there is also the possibility to use data from the following two projects:

1. Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Child Marriage, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Domestic Violence in India and Zambia

2. Pan-European Response to the Impacts of COVID-19 and future Pandemics and Epidemics (PERISCOPE)
