She has more than twelve years of work experience in diverse development sector organizations like UNICEF, University of Delaware, Pratham Education Foundation, India Vision Foundation and Room to Read.

Jannat Fatima Farooqui has published and presented her extensive work on child rights, education, minority and racial affairs at several international conferences like Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development, Conference on Child Rights & Sight, Yale University, and Asia-Pacific Joint Regional Social Work Conference. 

During her one-year fellowship, Jannat Fatima Farooqui will conduct research on the topic of “Fostering Social Integration and Inclusion for Migrant Muslim Students in Germany: Education-Based Responses to Islamophobic Violence, Religious Bullying and Discrimination” under Janina Steinert’s supervision.
