CoronaNet

Project Overview

CoronaNet gathers and encodes information about government policies adopted in response to COVID-19. Led by Cindy Cheng and Luca Messerschmidt with a team of collaborators at the Chair for International Relations and beyond, it has grown into a network with 1000+ contributors at 200+ universities and research institutions covering 195 countries and jurisdictionally separate territories around the world. The CoronaNet project, which is funded in large part by PERISCOPE, has collected data on more than 140,000 distinct policy decisions since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the geographic and demographic targets of those policies, timing of those policies, etc.
