Prof. Dr. Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt has been appointed as a Board Member of the esteemed International Graduate School of Science and Engineering (IGSSE). This interdisciplinary thematic graduate center is dedicated to fostering collaboration among researchers from various disciplines and institutions, blending academic excellence with top-tier doctoral education. Serving as a focal point for pioneering research across Technical University of Munich (TUM) departments and global research partners, IGSSE embodies TUM's dedication to nurturing unconventional research endeavors and cultivating exceptional young scholars. As a Thematic Graduate Center, IGSSE is also part of the TUM Graduate School. The IGSSE board steers the scientific and institutional development of IGSSE, especially the final decision on new project proposals. It is composed of representatives from diverse TUM faculties and cross-faculty institutions as well as representatives of the doctoral researchers and coordinating postdocs.
