Resumé
Research Areas
In general, he is interested in questions that center around the role of domestic and global market structures, their effect on political decisions and vice versa. In his dissertation, he looks more specifically at the connections of trade with security, climate and competition policy. This includes current research projects on the relation between the characteristics of production networks and trade policy decisions, trade consequences of security policy as well as the effectiveness of “mixed” policies such as “carbon tariffs”. By applying different research designs, he is not least interested in quantitative methods both in research and teaching.
