Prof. Janina Steinert and Ines Böhret present their research at European Conference on Domestic Violence in Reykjavik, Iceland

Janina Steinert presented the poster “´We don’t get money in our own hands´ Evidence from focus group discussions on economic abuse against women in two states of India". It analyses based on qualitative focus group discussions carried out by Janina Steinert, Ines Böhret, Rucha Vasumati Satish, Sanchita Sharma, and Sangeeta Chatterji.

Furthermore, she gave a oral presentation on the paper "Violence against adolescent girls in India during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A mixed-methods investigation", which she Hannah Prince, Jessy Ezebuihe, and Shruti Shukla worked on. This project was funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

Ines Böhret gave an oral presentation on "Interventions to Prevent or Alleviate Economic Violence against Women: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis". She worked on this topic with Janina Steinert, and Deeksha Suresh.
