New article published in the American Political Science Review


Men and women have different preferences on a wide range of economic policies, including on trade policies: women prefer higher tariffs than men do. In a new article, published in the American Political Science Review, Timm Betz (TUM), David Fortunato (University of California, San Diego), and Diana Z. O'Brien (Washington University in St. Louis) examine whether increasing women's political representation is reflected in different party platforms on trade policy and different trade policy outcomes.
