The Metaverse Multistakeholder Workshop (28th February 2023 - 1st March 2023) brought together participants from academia, business, industry, the public sector, and civil society, to explored the contours, shapes, and future trajectories of the Metaverse as tomorrow’s digital frontier. The event built on four exemplary use cases in Business to Business (B2B), Business to Customer (B2C), and Government to Customer (GOV2C). 

The Workshop is part of the ongoing activities of the Metaverse Research Group, which is currently in its incubation phase at the Technical University of Munich. It is a joint initiative of the Professorship of Public Policy, Governance, and Innovative Technologies with the TUM Think Tank and their international partners, including the Nordic Center for Internet and Society at BI Norwegian Business School and Youth and Media at the University of Zurich.
