In cooperation with the Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) and the TUM Think Tank at the Hochschule für Politik (HFP), TUM was able to apply successfully with the project "sustAInability" at the bidt digitization college call 2022. It is conducted by Prof. Dr. Stefan Wurster (Principal Investigator, TUM SOT), Prof. Dr. Gudrun Socher (HM) as well as Prof. Dr. Oliver Alexy (TUM SOM) and funded over the next four years with almost 600,000 euros from the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art. Master's and advanced bachelor's students from the participating universities are given the opportunity to continue their education in interdisciplinary and project-based English-language teaching and learning events at the interface of artificial intelligence and sustainability. Against the background of the diverse opportunities and potentials, but also the complex ecological, economic and social challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence, the digitization college intends to offer students space to develop concrete project ideas and solutions.
