The CoronaNet Research Project (https://www.coronanet-project.org) is an international research collaboration, led at TUM by Cindy Cheng and Luca Messerschmidt which aims to collect, analyze and make publicly available data on government policies adopted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since late March 2020, more than 600 researchers have collected information about more than 100,000 policies from all around the world at both the national and sub-national levels. This data tracks, among other information, the type of policy implemented, the geographic and human targets of the policy, and the timing of the policy. More information on the methodology for collecting the data can be found at: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-020-0909-7.
