Team of the Professorship of Global Health at the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA) conference in Rotterdam

Prof. Dr Janina Isabel Steinert, Dr Manuela Fritz, Manzura Jumaniyazova, and Henrike Sternberg represented the Professorship of Global Health at the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA) conference in Rotterdam from 15-17 July, presenting research spanning Africa and Asia — from adolescent health in Zambia to NCD prevention in Indonesia.

Janina Isabel Steinert shared long-term findings on how a bicycle intervention has shaped adolescent maternal and child health in Zambia. 

Henrike Sternberg presented a discrete choice experiment on perceptions and norms around women's risk of sexual harassment in urban India.

Manuela Fritz's talk examined whether health worker training improves the efficiency of NCD prevention in Indonesia's Posbindu program.

And Manzura Jumaniyazova presented new evidence on gender, birth order, and child growth in Central Asia.
