Student of Prof. Janina Steinert recieved award for bachelor thesis and a scholarship for research stay at Oxford

Friederike Suhr wrote her bachelor thesis at Prof. Janina Steinert focussing on what health related effects floods can impose on Sub-Saharan Africa. For her quantitative study, she recieved the Young Scientist Award of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology. Moreover, she was invited for a research stay in the group "Climate Econometrics" of Prof. Sir David Hendry at the University of Oxford deepening her findings in the thesis.

Furthermore, Friederike Suhr also published her results together with Janina Steinert in the renowned scientific journal BMC Public Health: Suhr F, Steinert JI.
