Manzura Jumaniyazova participated in the 18th RGS Doctoral Conference in Economics, with the headline topic "Family Economics", held in Dortmund, Germany, on February 24–25. The conference serves as a platform for young, talented economists to engage in fruitful discussions, learn and share knowledge, build networks, and initiate joint research projects.
Manzura presented her research paper titled "The Role of Gender in Early Childcare Practices in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis." Her findings suggest that girls in low- and middle-income countries are breastfed for shorter periods, receive fewer immunizations, and parents who have girls attend fewer pre- and post-natal check-ups.
