Luise Koch participated in the event "Strengthening Democracy by Reducing Threats to Women in Politics" at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. The event brought together experts, policymakers, and researchers to discuss the challenges women face in politics and the impact of technology-facilitated gender-based violence on democratic engagement.

Luise presented the latest research findings funded by the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation of the report "Under Attack & Abandoned: How Digital Violence Affects Political Engagement." The discussion emphasized the need for international collaboration to combat digital violence and its effects, such as self-censorship and disengagement from political discourse.

The report is a cooperation with HateAid and was prepared in the scope of the research project “Understanding, Detecting, and Mitigating Online Misogyny against Politically Active Women”.
