Dr. Manuela Fritz gave a public talk in Freising as part of the “SRM TALKS”

Manuela Fritz gave a public talk on “Climate change and chronic diseases - Health challenges of the 21st century” on February 24, 2025 as part of the Sustainable Research Management Talks (SRM Talks) at the TUM campus Freising. In this talk, Dr. Manuela Fritz highlighted the challenges of climate change with regard to public health, especially for countries in the Global South.

The SRM Talks are a public lecture series that was founded in 2017 under the Division of Forest Science and Resource Management at TUM. Under the motto “SRM Talks - Challenges of the Future”, experts from the private, public and development sector give insights into their ongoing research and projects. This 51st edition of the SRM Talks took place in collaboration with the TUM Green Office Weihenstephan on the topic of “Politics and Sustainability”. In addition to Manuela, Prof. Dr. Stephan Wurster (TUM, Professorship for Policy Analysis) and Fanny Wirth (Freising Agenda 21) also presented insights into current projects.
