Resumé
Dr. Katrin Beer has been working as a project assistant in the Power2U project (interdisciplinary joint project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK)) at the Chair of Environmental and Climate Policy at HfP/TUM since January 2022. Her research focuses on energy policy, bioeconomy, circular economy and sustainability transformation.
In the Power2U project, she is working on the influence of political framework conditions on the scope for action of private households in rural areas and on their opportunities to participate in the energy transition. The focus is on investments in the areas of heating (efficiency measures and conversion of heating technology on heat pumps in single-family homes/existing buildings by owners) and mobility (purchase of an e-car as an alternative to a combustion car).
