Mursal Dawodi (she/her) is a distinguished researcher in computer science, currently serving as a Fellow at the Technical University of Munich. Her research specializes in culturally aware misogyny detection, with a particular focus on women in academia. Mursal’s work explores how artificial intelligence approaches can be adapted to recognize and address misogynistic behavior in academic settings while taking into account cultural sensitivities and nuances.
In addition to her research, Dawodi is the Founder and President of FemsTech Worldwide, an organization dedicated to empowering women in STEM. As a passionate advocate for women’s education rights, she is committed to advancing gender equality and supporting the professional development of women in technology and related fields.
Mursal's academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Faculty of Kabul Polytechnic University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kabul University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She obtained a Master’s degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Berlin, supported by a DAAD scholarship, and pursued her PhD in Intelligent Systems Engineering in Japan as a MEXT scholarship recipient.

Laura Mahrenbach (she/her) is an expert in the politics of digital technologies and global economic governance, currently working as an adjunct professor at the School of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. Her research explores how global power shifts interact with artificial intelligence and big data as well as how to use these technologies to address societal and governance challenges.
Over the past twenty years, Laura has developed a truly global perspective, researching, teaching and engaging in policy discussions in 16 countries on 5 continents. She thrives in cross-functional environments, using her programming and data analytics training and social science expertise to communicate across industries and organizations.
Laura holds the Venia Legendi in Political Science from the Technical University of Munich, a PhD (summa cum laude) from the Ruhr-University Bochum, an MA from Florida State University and a BA from Louisiana State University.

Matthias Pfeffer is a lecturer at Technische Universität München on Digitalization and Democracy since 2023. He is a TV journalist, author and Founder and Director of the Think-and Do Tank Council for European Public Space in Berlin.
He studied philosophy and was initially a war reporter for SPIEGEL TV and Sat. 1 before establishing FOCUS TV (Hubert-Burda-Media, Munich) in 1995, which he headed as managing director and editor-in-chief for 20 years. Prior he was a visiting Professor at the University of Bergamo, Department History of Science and Philosophy in May 2022 on Epistemology of Artificial Intelligence.
